Telangana Housing Corporation LimitedProject Brief:
As part of the implementation of the Six Guarantees schemes, the Government of Telangana has launched Indiramma Housing Scheme. This scheme aims to provide affordable housing to economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income families by offering pucca houses (permanent homes) to eligible beneficiaries in both rural and urban areas. The primary objective is to enhance living conditions and reduce homelessness across the state. CGG played a crucial role as the technology partner to the Government in design and development of web and mobile application for the following key areas:
-
Applicant Verification Process
- A total of 80.54 lakh applications were recorded through the Prajapalana program.
- These applications were surveyed using a mobile application that worked both online and offline.
- Survey images captured via the mobile app were verified using AI.
-
To maintain accuracy, 5% of applications were super-checked by Mandal Parishad Development Officers (MPDOs).
-
Applicant Categorization (Prioritization Matrix): Applicants were categorized into three priority levels based on their housing conditions:
- L1: Non-pucca houses with house sites.
- L2: Non-pucca houses without house sites.
-
L3: Households already having pucca houses.
-
Approval Process
- Categorized data was presented in Grama/Ward Sabhas, where findings were recorded.
- Based on Sabha findings, applicants were reassigned between categories if necessary.
- The finalized list was then submitted to the Collector for approval.
- Upon approval, sanction proceedings were issued by the Collector.
-
MPDOs then generated individual sanction orders for selected villages.
-
Implementation Phase
- A Grounding App was developed to facilitate the implementation process.
- The app was used to mark out and capture geo-coordinates of the selected beneficiaries to ensure accurate location tracking.
